It’s kind of disappointing, and it takes away from the eating experience. Eating distracted is also a good way to overeat, as you’ll eat faster and feel less full. If you want to be more mindful while you eat and avoid overeating, put your phone down and scroll through a magazine or listen to a podcast instead!

A lot of people feel urges to eat healthy throughout the week, but it’s hard to resist your favorite junk foods while you’re at the grocery store. One of the best ways to combat this issue is to keep a running grocery store list on your fridge. Whenever you come across a recipe or think of a healthy dish that you’d like to make, jot down some ingredients on your list.
Invest in some smaller plates
It’s only natural that you fill your plate with as much food as it can fit. If you feel like you’re eating too much, try buying smaller plates. It sounds like a super simple solution, but it actually works!
Buy cold brew for easier morning workouts
Do you know anybody who works out in the morning? Don’t they seem like the happiest, most chipper people in your life? Morning workouts have tons of health benefits that simply can’t be replicated by evening workouts, but some people have serious trouble getting out of bed before they absolutely have to. If you want to try morning workouts but haven’t been able to get out of bed, try buying some cold brew and drinking it right when you wake up. Just knowing that you have the jolt of caffeine available might make it easier to get up and get to the gym.
