Top Apps of 2018 with your South Congress Apartments

  |     |   Uncategorized

When was the last time you were really blown away by a mobile app? We’re talking about the kind of apps that cause you to spend a whole afternoon in your South Congress apartments, tapping your thumbs on your phone because you’re so enthralled with the new tech on your device. If it’s been awhile, that’s probably because you haven’t been exploring the app store. There are tons of awesome apps out there, whether you need them for productivity, games or otherwise.

In the blog post below, we’ll be talking about some of our favorite apps of 2018. We’re thrilled to share this list with our residents because some of these apps have a real impact when it comes to making your life more convenient. If you don’t care about making life convenient and just care about finding the next most addictive mobile game app, well, we’ve got some advice in that department as well.

Now that the intro is out of the way, let’s get right to the list of apps! Oh, and when you’re done reading through this week’s blog, please be sure to share the link to this page with your friends and neighbors at Muse — the South Congress apartments Austin residents prefer.

Camera+2

If you’re serious about snapping pics with your phone, you might as well upgrade the camera app. The stock camera app on most phones is okay at best, which is why Camera+2 is such a popular app. Not only does it make the camera app faster and more responsive, but it adds extra features that you can use to take better pics.

Google News

There are a lot of ways to get news, but Google News might be the fastest, most efficient way to get your info. Google News sorts and compiles all the news that you need and presents it in easy to read snippets. If you want to delve deeper into the story, that’s possible too.

Hole.io

It’s hard to describe this game without making it sound dreadfully boring, but we promise you that it’s not. The game involves using a sinkhole to swallow a whole town, and it’s about as addictive as it gets. The app has been the number one most downloaded game on the app store for quite some time.

Google Lens

With Google Lens, you can snap a pic of an object and Google will tell you things about that object. You can scan barcodes to identify products, food and drinks. You can get more info about landmarks, parks or scenic views. It’s still a work in progress, but Google Lens is the future of the camera phone.
