There’s a lot to love about living in our community of South Congress apartments, but it all starts with the fact that you live in the hub of an innovative, exciting city. A large percentage of our residents work in Austin’s booming tech scene, and we love that The Muse is home to some of Austin’s best and brightest. With that in mind, we’ve decided to dedicate this week’s post to tech. Specifically, we’ll be talking about some of the most popular tech gadgets of 2018. With the holiday season in full swing, now is as good a time as any to familiarize yourself with the hottest tech of 2018. Whether you’re buying for yourself or you’re getting a gift for someone else, we think you’ll find something on the list below that you think is worth purchasing.
Without further delay, let’s dive right into this week’s blog! Oh, and when you’re done reading through the post below, please feel free to share the link to this page with your friends and neighbors at The Muse — the apartments on South Congress Austin residents choose for contemporary comfort.
The first gadget on our list is also the most futuristic. Every movie set in the future seems to show cars that have navigation displayed on the windshield, and the Navdy Heads Up Display can make that futuristic dream a reality. It displays everything that a GPS displays, but projected up on your windshield. If you know anyone who spends a lot of time in their car for work or travel, this gift could become their new favorite gadget.
There is nothing worse than losing your phone, wallet or keys at an inopportune time like right before work. You’re scrambling to flip over couch cushions and look under the bed, and all the while the clock is showing that you’re going to be super late to the office. If you had a Tile Bluetooth Tracker, you wouldn’t have to deal with situations like that. This little square attaches to your personal belongings and can be tracked on your computer. If you lose something, just go on the computer and tell the Tile to beep.
You could get a Fitbit like everyone else, or you could express your individuality and get a Moov. It looks cooler, it doesn’t have a screen, and it’s a lot more affordable than a Fitbit. You can look at the app on your phone to see all the stats about your personal fitness.
With that, we’ve reached the end of our list of the best tech gadgets of 2018!
